Shahjalal University of Science & Technology introduced the "SMS Based Online Admission Registration" in 2009 and has been successfully running since then. It has been adapted by other universities and is considered as a milestone of digital innovation in the country, Bangladesh. This year, the system arranged a combined admission test of SUST and JSTU. Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) and Jessore Science & Technology University (JSTU) will take a single test for the session 2013-2014. The candidates have to appear in a single admission test at their choice of examination center, either in Jessore or in Sylhet and will be considered for admission in both the universities, SUST and JSTU.
